And…. Just like that it’s December!

This time of year is extremely busy—which can take a toll on your health! Often times we are so busy that we forget to take care of ourselves! Here are some important tips to stay healthy during the holiday season.

1. Get Sleep

When we are busy—the first thing we generally let go is our sleep! Be sure to set time aside to get a good nights rest! A proper nights sleep can benefit your mind, weight, and mood!

2. Wash your hands

I know its common sense, but it’s especially important around the holidays as we are often traveling though high-traffic areas, like—airports, malls or attending holiday parties!

3. Drink Plenty of water and add a vitamin

Water is what keeps us going, it helps with out weight, immune system, skin, and boost our energy! If you don’t already take vitamins, the holidays are a good time to load up on Vitamin C or add a multivitamin into your morning routine!

4. Exercise

It is extremely important to exercise during the holiday season, it helps reduce the stress associated with the holidays—expenses, family time, etc. It is also an excuse to have some “me” time.

5. Eat Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It helps boost your metabolism, and it can help you shy away from all the delicous treats around the office.
